The Exhibitions You Will See
New Zealand's Fine Jewellers and Contemporary Jewellers
The main exhibition floor presents the work of designers of contemporary and fine jewellery from across the country. The designers, each with their own display cabinet, are there to meet the public and sell their work. Our leading tertiary institutes will also be exhibiting students' work and you will have the opportunity to discuss course options with their design tutors.
The event also includes three feature exhibitions:
Curated Exhibition
This year’s Curated Contemporary Jewellery Exhibition
Each year the New Zealand Jewellery Show features an exhibition of the work of cutting edge contemporary designers presented by a leading curator in the contemporary jewellery scene.
For the 2010 event, we will feature the work of four Galleries respected throughout the country for Contemporary Jewellery.
Each of our guest Galleries for the show will take four cabinets, and we will confirm the names of the Galleries participating shortly,
They will be clustered together on the exhibition floor under the name The Galleries Exhibition
The Designers' Choice
A selection of unique, high-value, fine jewellery made by the participating designers and generously loaned by clients for this exhibition. These fabulous pieces will be selected by the designers as their favourite and most memorable.
The Regal Castings Jewellery Design Awards
This is the opportunity for the public to see the work of the entrants’ and finalists' in The Regal Castings Awards, sponsored by Regal Castings Limited. There are two categories, contemporary and fine jewellery. These awards encourage New Zealand designers to enter their best work. All awards entries approved by the judges will be on sale.
