The newly combined 2010 Regal Castings Awards and Gala Preview night will take place on Thursday 1 July 2010 at the SKYCITY Convention Centre.  In the 2010 show, there will be no Designers’ Drinks, instead designers will have an hour’s break between 6pm – 7pm before the evening’s event commences.  At 7pm all designers, Gala Preview guests and other attendees will meet at the entrance to the Show to enjoy a glass of bubbly and take part in the Regal Castings Awards ceremony.  At 7.55pm, designers will be asked to go to their cabinets to prepare for the first public viewing of the 2010 New Zealand Jewellery Show.  Guests will be invited into the room at 8.00pm.

Both the Awards and the Gala Preview are a vital part of The New Zealand Jewellery Show. Every exhibitor can attend The Regal Castings Awards and Gala Preview as part of their registration fee.

Participating designers are also encouraged to purchase additional tickets for their guests who will join with us in celebrating the best of award winning design in fine and contemporary jewellery.  Designers should contact potential guests in advance to ensure they order the appropriate number of tickets to promote the event.  These can be sent by designers to their clients as personal invitations. Tickets will be available from the organisers from 1 May 2010.

Event organisers will also invite those with a strong interest in jewellery to ensure as many potential buyers are in the room as possible.
